East Bakersfield crash into Fastrip sign under investigation, at least 1 injured

BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — The driver of a black sedan crashed into a Fastrip sign on Niles Street Thursday night, resulting in at least one person sustaining minor injuries, according to California Highway Patrol’s website. A male was seen in handcuffs after the incident by an Eyewitness News crew.

The incident happened at around 7:55 p.m. in front of the Fastrip located at 2200 Niles Street. CHP reports that a male driver was pulled from a vehicle and was lying on the ground shortly after.
