BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — As temperatures are expected to reach 100 degrees and over in parts of the Central Valley, the National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Watch for the weekend.
The Extreme Heat Watch is in effect between May 30 at 11 a.m. through June 1 at 7 a.m. for much of Kern County including the Kern River Valley, the National Weather Service in Hanford said.
