BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Superior Court of Kern County is warning residents of a scam impersonating officials asking for payments through text message.
The court posted to its Facebook page, saying scammers are pretending to be employees of the court and sending text messages containing links to fraudulent websites asking for payment.
