Arrest made in deadly Oildale fire

A 52-year-old woman was found dead after a mobile home fire in Oildale on Saturday afternoon. Later Saturday, a 34-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the fire.

  • Rhonda Brown, the property manager, said the majority of people who live at the mobile home park do not belong there.

Witnesses recall a chaotic scene when a fire broke out at Superior Mobile home park on State Road in Oildale on Saturday afternoon. The trailer was located at the back of the park.
