SNIP bus prepares furry friends for Fourth of July

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — “In Bakersfield we celebrate 4th of July early,” said Robbie Miller, the founder of SOS Dog Rescue.

“Usually it’s about a two-month span of fireworks going off,” said Miller. “Now is the time…dogs don’t like loud noises, they’re going to run, they go into flight mode.”

On Thursday morning, SOS Dog Rescue brought the SNIP bus clinic to Heritage Park in east Bakersfield. Pet owners brought their fluffy ones to be spayed, neutered, and micro chipped at a low cost…
