BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The city of Bakersfield has announced an upcoming large item drop-off event on Stockdale Highway for Saturday.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 14 from 8 a.m. to noon at 15050 Stockdale Highway, according to organizers.

City officials will be accepting furniture, mattresses, box springs, major appliances, electronics, water heaters and BBQ grills without propane tanks.
