Man arrested after drugs and cash found in probation search, faces Prop 36 charge

BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — A man was arrested on Tuesday in south Bakersfield after probation officers discovered marijuana, cocaine, and a large amount of cash inside a home, officials said. Adrian Coronel faces a Prop 36 charge after two previous convictions.

On June 10, 2025, officers with the Kern County Department’s Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) unit conducted a home call in the 2500 block of White Lane and contacted Coronel.
