BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A Kern County jury on Wednesday found a 28-year-old man guilty of murder in the shooting death of a man in central Bakersfield three years ago.
Kira Conerly-Burton II was convicted of first-degree murder and shooting at an occupied motor vehicle in the death of Michael Rico Stubbs, 32, according to court records. He faces life in prison without parole at next month’s sentencing hearing.
