Man sentenced for transporting hundreds of pounds of meth

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man who was pulled over in Bakersfield with more than 200 pounds of methamphetamine was sentenced Tuesday to two years in jail, according to court records.

Prosecutors say Adolfo Moreno-Ramirez also faces five years of mandatory supervision by the probation department as part of a plea deal reached last month.
