BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Reports of a woman being followed near Edison Highway ended with two arrests and a large law enforcement presence in the area Tuesday afternoon.
A man and woman were arrested east of Bakersfield June 24 after one resisted arrest and the other fled on foot, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At about 12:06 p.m., CHP made contact with a man and woman near Edison and Tejon highways. The woman fled into a nearby field and was later apprehended near Highway 58 and Vineland Road. The man was arrested after resisting and being found in possession of a gun.
