BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Colin Kegley was adamant about his plans for June 5 — he was going to shoot law enforcement and either die or spend the rest of his life in prison.
“I wanna die tonight, so I’m pulling my gun out,” Kegley told a sheriff’s dispatcher.
Kegley, 28, did in fact get shot. He was wounded by a deputy who spotted him armed with a rifle on the roof of a Kernville business.
