BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A Buttonwillow CHP officer had to help some animals off the roadway on Wednesday and get them to stop horsing around.
Officer Meeks received a call of multiple ponies running around Wednesday near Taft Highway and got to work.
Officer Meeks was able to corral the ponies and return them to their owner safely.
He also discovered a baby hawk that he moved from the roadway as well…
