Southern California family searches for man missing in Kern River

BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — A Southern California family is desperately searching for their loved one, who they say went missing in the Kern River this past weekend.

The family of 36-year-old James Bawayan from Chino Hills reported that he was swept away by a current on Saturday near Black Gulch, southwest of Lake Isabella.
