Bakersfield man who murdered father in 2017 gets life term

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man convicted of murder in the shooting death of his father in southwest Bakersfield was sentenced Tuesday to 95 years to life plus 23 years in prison, according to prosecutors.

Edward Pull, 39, was found guilty in May of first-degree murder and false imprisonment, among other charges, for shooting his father in 2017 and hitting his mother with the butt of a rifle.
