BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Two teens have admitted to committing first-degree murder on behalf of a gang in connection with a deadly shooting in February on Lotus Lane.
Kaleb Washington and Adrian Herron made the admission earlier this month and are scheduled for another hearing to determine what facility they’ll be sent to, District Attorney’s Office spokeswoman Daniela Gonzaga said.
Due to their youth — Washington was 15 and Herron 14 at the time of their arrest — they can only be kept in a juvenile facility until they turn 25.
