Sheriff Donny Youngblood on child predator vigilantes: ‘Don’t try to be a policeman’

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Child predator vigilantes are people who lure potential sex offenders taking action into their own hands.

Recently, a similar case occurred in Bakersfield where a group of men allegedly lured someone in by posing as a young teenage girl. The group’s operation allegedly ended with beating, robbing, and detaining the lured man until authorities arrived, according to a warrant authored by a sheriff’s deputy.
