Woman arrested after fleeing from sheriff’s deputies in stolen car: KCSO

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A 21-year-old woman who fled from law enforcement in a stolen car Thursday night was arrested after the car became disabled in west Bakersfield, according to sheriff’s deputies.

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Ashley Cabe, 21, who allegedly refused multiple requests to exit the vehicle when it became disabled, prompting deputies to use a less-lethal launcher and deploy a K9 unit. The sheriff’s office also said Cabe assaulted a peace officer with a firearm.
