Search and rescue crews pull man’s body out of Kern River

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said a man’s body was recovered Saturday out of the Kern River.

Volunteers with Search and Rescue from the sheriff’s office located a man’s body on Saturday near the Hobo Campground at around 10 a.m.

Details of how the man got into the river were not released. The man will be identified by the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
