BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — An 18-year-old man from Taft was arrested in Shafter after leading law enforcement on a high-speed pursuit on Saturday, according to the Shafter Police Department.
A sergeant was on routine patrol near East Lerdo Highway and Beech Avenue when he saw a vehicle fail to stop at the red light at around 11:42 p.m., according to officials.
