BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Loved ones of Gabriela Rodriguez, who was stabbed to death at her home in south Bakersfield, held a car wash fundraiser on Sunday.
Rodriguez, 54, was killed outside her home in the 5800 block of Ream Way July 15 while getting her mail. Derrick Williams, 50, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, according to Kern County Superior Court records.
The funds from the car wash, which was held on Union Avenue, will help Rodriguez’s family during this difficult time.
