BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — What would Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet have looked like if, rather than ending in a tragic misunderstanding, the story had played out into the couple’s golden years?
It might have looked a lot like the story of Richard and Wanda Lollar of Bakersfield. They were married for 64 years and still in love at the end. Wanda died July 15 at the age of 84.
