2 arrested, 1 wounded in North Chester Ave shooting

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Two people were arrested after a shooting that severely wounded a person in Oildale early Friday morning, according to officials.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to the area of North Chester Avenue and Ferguson Avenue at around 1 a.m. for a report of a shooting.

One person was taken to a hospital with “severe trauma” from a gunshot wound.
