Two Arrested In Canyon Country On Felony Charges After Deputies Spot Suspicious Vehicle

Two individuals from Bakersfield were arrested Wednesday night after Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies discovered stolen property and narcotics inside a suspicious vehicle parked behind a closed business in Canyon Country.

Summer Team deputies observed a pickup truck parked behind a closed business on the 19300 block of Soledad Canyon Road. Upon making contact, deputies found a 33-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man inside the vehicle, according to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

The woman was determined to be on probation for receiving stolen property. Further investigation revealed that the man was wanted in multiple counties on felony warrants, including charges of cruelty to a child and grand theft.
