BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A quarrel between neighbors over loud music resulted in a deadly shooting early Sunday in northwest Bakersfield, police said.
Around 12:30 a.m., police were called to a report of a peace disturbance on Rhone Drive, south of Hageman Road and west of Fruitvale Avenue, in which neighbors were arguing over loud music.
Sheriff’s office seeks information in 2024 homicide
The confrontation turned physical, and the neighbors were separated, police said.
Another call came in an hour later.
