Police seek help identifying driver in hit-and-run crash that killed pedestrian on Union Ave

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the driver of a car that hit and killed a pedestrian on Union Avenue last month.

A car described as a 2013-20 white Ford Fusion hit the pedestrian sometime between the late evening of July 3 and early morning of July 4, police said. It left the crash scene in the area of South Union and Hosking avenues.

The car will likely have damage to the passenger side front bumper and headlight, and possible damage to the windshield, police said. The passenger side-view mirror will be missing.
