School traffic safety: Drivers urged to follow laws and stay alert

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — As students return to classrooms, drivers can expect increased traffic on the roads during morning hours.

School zones enforce a 25-mile-per-hour speed limit, and it is mandatory for vehicles to stop when school buses flash their red lights.
