BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — A 23-year-old man was convicted of first-degree murder on Wednesday for the 2022 shooting death of a Lake Isabella man, according to the Kern County Superior Court website. Shanendoha Automatic Jackson’s conviction was finalized on August 6, 2025, and he is scheduled for sentencing next month.
On October 13, 2022, at approximately 7:15 a.m., deputies said they responded to a report of an assault in the 2900 block of Fulop Street in Lake Isabella. When they arrived, deputies discovered 40-year-old Daniel Robert Gregory, of Lake Isabella, suffering from gunshot wounds. Gregory was transported to Kern Medical, where he died from his injuries the next day.
Investigations revealed that two suspects were involved in the incident, with one suspect firing the fatal shots. Both suspects fled the scene. The second suspect, identified as Justin Anderson, was arrested in Bakersfield on October 20, 2022…
