BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified a woman who was struck and a killed by a vehicle in central Bakersfield.
Sheila Mae Barton, 77, of Bakersfield was a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle in the 2000 block of Park Way on Aug. 1 around 1 p.m., according to coroner officials.
Barton was taken to Kern Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead on Aug. 2 around 8:30 a.m…
