Bakersfield gang member accused of distributing drugs in Ohio

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — When authorities stopped Garry Leon Tindall at an Ohio airport, they searched his luggage and made an unusual find: multiple shoes with cash totaling $60,000 stuffed within the insoles.

It’s suspected Tindall, a Bakersfield gang member, obtained the money by distributing cocaine and fentanyl in Columbus, Ohio.

Arrested on July 31, he has a hearing in federal court Friday to determine whether he’ll remain in custody…
