BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Two months before he slammed into a police vehicle at a DUI checkpoint while allegedly driving drunk, Bakersfield attorney William Charles Wright crashed into a light pole on Stockdale Highway, according to police reports.
In that incident, his blood tested positive for the anti-anxiety drug lorazepam, the reports say. It has drowsiness listed among its side effects.
