Police arrest man on S. Union Avenue for alleged meth distribution to homeless

BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Bakersfield police arrested a 37-year-old man on multiple narcotics charges following a traffic stop on South Union Avenue on Friday afternoon.

Clyde Eddington was arrested on Friday at around 12:30 p.m. on multiple narcotics charges, including sales and transportation of methamphetamine.

Officers from the Bakersfield Police Department Impact Unit, with assistance from the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team, conducted a traffic enforcement stop in the 300 block of South Union Avenue.
