Police release images of suspects in Brundage Swap Meet jewelry store robbery

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Bakersfield police are asking for help to identify three masked men who robbed a jewelry store at the Brundage Swap Meet.

The Bakersfield Police Department said the robbery happened on Aug. 8 at around 10:35 a.m. at the Brundage Swap Meet located at 2207 Brundage Lane. Officials said the three suspects brandished an AR-15-style rifle and a pistol as they removed jewelry from a display.

Police did not state how much was lost in the robbery.

The suspects then got away in a black GMC Yukon with temporary California license plates, the department said.

The first suspect was described as a man wearing a black New York Yankees cap with white logo, a green face covering, a black long-sleeved shirt, black nitrile gloves, a black belt, blue leather jeans and black athletic shoes. He was carrying a prybar or knife that had an orange or red-colored handle.
