BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Two people were arrested and charged in the murder of a man that occurred in south Bakersfield more than three years ago.
Dahmonte Cooks, 22, and Johnesha Avila, 26, appeared in court for the first time on Tuesday. A not guilty plea was entered on behalf of both Cooks and Avila.
Both suspects are being held on no bail…
