Man acquitted on all charges in gun assault case

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A Kern County jury has acquitted a man on all charges after learning the alleged victim could not positively identify the defendant “with complete certainty” as the person who threatened him with a gun, according to the Public Defender’s Office.

Jurors on Friday found Juan Carlos Garcia not guilty of assault with a gun and three other firearm-related charges.
