BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — California State University, Bakersfield, has unveiled a state-of-the-art simulation lab designed to enhance the education of students in its highly regarded nursing and family nurse practitioner programs. The new facility aims to prepare students better to address the severe shortage of healthcare providers in the community.
The announcement took place Friday morning at the Paul F. Romberg Nursing Education Center, with support from partners including Kern Family Health Care and the Varansi family.
