KERN, Calif. (FOX26) — The Kern County Sheriff’s conducted an enforcement sweep throughout the county, resulting in 24 arrests and clearing 5,000 lbs of debris on Friday.
Deputies worked in a coordinated effort with District 3 Supervisor Jeff Flores to clear out highly reported areas from businesses and residents for loitering and trespassing.
The areas included
- North Chester Avenue
- 1308 Airport Drive
- 35184 Merle Haggard Drive
- 7400 E. Brundage Lane
- 8331 Kern Canyon Road
During the sweep, deputies made a total of 24 arrests, with 20 of them being misdemeanors and 4 being felonies…
