BAKERSFIELD, Calif KBAK/KBFX — A fast-moving vegetation fire was reported in northeast Bakersfield on Tuesday evening near Paladino Drive and Morning Drive.
CHP said Alfred Harrell Highway at Fairfax Road has reopened in both directions as of 9:19 p.m.
Crews were called out just after 5:11 p.m. Bakersfield and Kern County firefighters are on scene working to put out the flames.
