Man, 39, arraigned on murder charge in deadly stabbing

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A 39-year-old man charged with murder in connection with a deadly stabbing was arraigned Thursday.

Michael Ryan Williams had a not guilty plea entered on his behalf by a deputy public defender and was ordered held without bail.

He’s due back in court later this month.

On Tuesday afternoon, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Houser and South Williams streets to reports of a stabbing, according to Bakersfield police officials. They were directed to South Brown Street where they found a man suffering from serious cuts and blunt force trauma…
