Rumored threat at Tevis Junior High deemed non-credible by police after campus lockdown

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A rumored threat to Tevis Junior High School was found to be non-credible by police.

The Panama-Buena Vista Union School District said on Thursday, September 4, at around 8:30 a.m., the Bakersfield Police Department placed Tevis Junior High School on lockdown due to a rumor of a threat on campus.
