BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — A DUI probation sweep led to the arrest of a Lamont man and the discovery of two low-caliber rifles and cocaine, according to the Kern County Probation Department. The sweep, conducted by the department’s Adult Probation Services Division on September 4, 2025, targeted individuals with outstanding DUI warrants.
During a home visit in the 8000 block of Far Hills Avenue, officers encountered Julian Gomez, who was wanted on a felony warrant.
