BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Last week’s heat is gone and this week’s cooldown is coming! A significant change in the upper atmospheric pattern will feature a large trough of low pressure out of the North Pacific being reinforced along the West Coast. Those temperatures will be coming down for what could truly be a sneak peak of Autumn around here.
Some of the coolest temperatures could be recorded around midweek. That’s when South Valley highs could range from the mid to possibly even lower 80s. The mountains might not get much above the low 70s and even our desert towns could say…..
