BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Help put food on the table for local families in need by supporting the Feed Kern Food Drive.
KGET is once again partnering with the “Community Action Partnership of Kern” for a food drive and barbecue Sept. 10 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Compassion Corner — the corner of L and 22nd streets in downtown Bakersfield.

There will also be a BBQ lunch that day from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and for $15, you’ll get a deep pit sandwich with chips and a cold drink.
