Part of Truxtun Avenue to temporarily close Monday for Hispanic Heritage Month festivities

BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — A section of Truxtun Avenue will close at 5 p.m. on Monday, September 15, for events celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month and Mexican Independence Day. The closure will be between Chester Avenue and L Street.

Festivities include the 14th Annual El Grito de Dolores at the Liberty Bell. Live music and food vendors will be available on site.
