BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – If you’re going to temporarily transform Bakersfield’s beloved Fox Theater in a way as dramatic as they’re planning, you might as well get more than just one use out of it.
That’s the thinking behind the metamorphosis of the historic theater into a ballroom.
Organizers are in the process of building a so-called floating floor over the Fox fixed seats in order to create a raised level surface for tables and chairs.
