CHP arrests two in Bakersfield for stolen baby clothes and gun sights from train theft

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Two people were arrested in Bakersfield after officers allegedly found stolen baby clothes and two firearm red dot sights from a train theft inside a stolen vehicle from Florida.

The California Highway Patrol said on September 12, 2025, members of the CHP Crime Suppression Team (CST) conducted a traffic stop within Bakersfield. A registration check of the vehicle revealed the vehicle was stolen out of the state of Florida.
