BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified the driver killed after a crash on Interstate 5 as 24-year-old Jorge Vidal Aguirre-Munguia.
The California Highway Patrol said on September 15, 2025, at around 12:02 p.m., officers were called to a two-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 5, north of Rowlee Road.
CHP said a preliminary investigation found Aguirre-Munguia was driving a 2025 Ram 1500 pickup northbound on Interstate 5 north of Rowlee Road. At the same time, a 45-year-old man from La Puente, CA was driving a 2010 Toyota Corolla southbound on Interstate 5 north of Rowlee Road approaching the Ram pickup’s location…
