On September 15, 2025, around 8:00 a.m., Kern County Sheriff’s deputies from the Rosamond Substation pulled over a vehicle near Rosamond Boulevard and Sierra Highway. The driver, Bridget Ray, was already on felony probation for a prior narcotics sales case.

- Psilocybin mushrooms
- Additional methamphetamine
- Mail linking Ray to the drugs
Authorities estimate the street value of the oxycodone pills at $40,950.
