BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A GoFundMe campaign was made by the Kern County Firefighters, IAFF Local 1301, for Battalion Chief James Agee as he continues to recover after he was severely injured in a rollover crash while working on the Canyon Fire.
The Kern County Fire Department said the rollover crash happened on August 8, 2025, at around 6:20 p.m., while working on the Canyon Fire.
The Canyon Fire burned 5,370 acres in Los Angeles and Ventura counties.
