36 Bakersfield shelter dogs head to their forever homes in Canada

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Dogs of all breeds and sizes left the Bakersfield Animal Care Center Friday morning and headed to BARC’s Rescue in Calgary, where fosters and adopters are already lined up.

Thirty-six dogs left the shelter, according to organizers.
