BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Search and Rescue team introduced a new future team member on Saturday.
River, the newest K9 recruit, is currently being trained to become an area search dog.
K9’s that are specially trained in area searches are utilized to cover large outdoor spaces and locate missing people by scent.
